About Us

Terra Nova Organic Coffee Roasters was founded in a red barn on an organic farm in New Hampshire in 2005.  When the original founders of Terra Nova decided to move on to new pursuits in 2011, one of their young baristas and her entrepreneurial husband decided to jump in and continue the craft. In 2017 Terra Nova created a custom brick and mortar roastery and espresso bar in downtown Keene, and in 2020 expanded again to include a full service cafe, retail shop, and music venue, welcoming customers to an exceptional cafe experience.

Coffee is one of the most heavily sprayed crops in the world - ours isn't. Every batch is triple-certified organic, meaning no synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, or chemicals on the farm or in your cup. Better for the soil, better for your body.

Good coffee starts with people being treated well. Women make up nearly 70% of the coffee farming workforce, yet often face the greatest barriers to fair pay, training, and opportunity. We source from co-ops that actively work to change that, supporting growers with real resources.

Small-batch roasted means each and every bean matters to our team, and so does every customer. No shortcuts, just human connection from crop to cup. We're real people who love coffee and love hearing from you.
