We do our best to ship you our freshly roasted coffee as fast as possible. Because we know that when you need your coffee, you need your coffee!

We ship your products direct from our roastery in Keene, New Hampshire. All orders placed through our website Monday through Thursday are filled and shipped the next business day. We strive to ship the same day whenever we can, but it's not always possible.

Orders placed on Fridays after 11am through Sunday are filled and shipped the following Monday (excluding holidays). This includes pickup orders. 

Our roastery operates separately from our cafe and is closed on the weekends. 

If you are local and need coffee ASAP you can either stop by our cafe, Brewbakers, or order through our cafe's online ordering service and pickup contact-free. At this time we do not offer delivery. When you order through the cafe's online ordering service during business hours we will have your coffee ready for you same-day, and we'll send you a notification as soon as it's ready to be picked up. These bags are not filled to order, but fear not! We roast our coffee in small batches at least 3 days a week, so you are always guaranteed our freshest, most delicious beans.

Once we have fulfilled your order and the carrier (USPS or UPS) has possession, it is out of our hands. The risk of loss passes onto you and Terra Nova is not responsible for any shipping delays or problems once your order has been shipped. If you do have any problems (i.e. your package is said to have been delivered, but it is not there) please reach out to the carrier directly. We will always provide you with a tracking number for your order. And we’ll do our best to help troubleshoot with you (don’t forget to check with your neighbors, building, and physical surroundings to ensure the order wasn’t left somewhere or picked up by someone else - this happens frequently!), but we cannot control what happens when your package leaves the roasting facility. And as a small business, we cannot refund orders that are marked as delivered with a tracking number, even if a customer is stating they haven’t received the package. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause, and thank you for your understanding.

Our shipping costs are tiered and based on weight:

  • Subscribers - $5 flat rate to the lower 48 states
  • Tier One - 1 - 8 pounds of coffee $7 flat rate
  • Tier Two - 9 - 16 pounds of coffee $14 flat rate
  • Tier Three - 17+ bags of coffee please contact us
  • Alaska and Hawaii - calculated at checkout for both subscription and online orders (sorry!)

We reserve the right to choose the method of shipping between USPS and UPS.

Please note: due to software limitations, shipping rates will be combined if you are checking out with both a subscription product and a one-time purchase. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about this. If you are interested in purchasing both, place the order and contact us immediately - we will refund the price of the one-time purchase ($7) so you will only pay $5. Sorry for the inconvenience! 

General* delivery times:

  • Within 1-3 business days of shipment in the northeast
  • Within 4-6 business days of shipment east of the Mississippi
  • Within 7-9 business days of shipment west of the Mississippi

*These are conservative estimates - in most cases your coffee will arrive sooner, we just can't guarantee it :)

Holidays, severe weather, COVID-19, carrier staff shortages, and high package volumes cause delays in transit time. We cannot predict or guarantee exactly when your package will arrive, so the above is an approximation for your reference. At this time we do not offer expedited shipping as part of the checkout process, however if you contact us immediately after placing your order we may be able to make an exception (subject to availability). Expedited shipping is excluded from our general shipping policy and is not eligible for tiered rates. Exact calculated costs for expedited shipping will be passed onto the customer with no exceptions.
